       Surrounded by a trimmed privet hedge in a nationally designated Newport Historic Zone residential neighborhood, Anchor B & B is at the corner of Photo of Anchor B and B in NewportCatherine and Cottage Sts.

       First Mate Joan is in charge of these shore accommodations ... and they are neat as a pin. Captain Vic handles the "maintenance" is the coinciege.

Joan from Anchor B&B       March 2003: First Mate Joan joined Vic on a Blue Water Crossing from Port Canaveral, FL to Grand Bahama Island ... her first Blue Water Crossing.

       One room is currently available at Anchor B&B: the Secret Rendezvous. This private, comfortable, and quiet "Crew's Quarters" has its own entrance, nautical decor, plenty of parking, and a secluded patio area. Breakfast is self serve and available in your room.

       We are open from June through September.

Secret Rendezvous
       Secret Rendezvous is a northeast corner room on the 9 ft high second floor and is furnished with a Victorian reproduction oak queen sleigh bed, dresser, TV/armoire, table with two chairs, private bath with tub shower, AC, outgoing local phone, clock radio, and small refrigerator stocked with breadfast items, OJ, Milk, Half and Half, and cereal. There is a private entrance right by the off-street parking area for the B&B Crew's Quarters.
Rates for 2007

Three-night minimum on Memorial Day, Fourth of July,
Folk Festival, Jazz Festival, Labor Day, and Sept. Boat Show Weekends.
Otherwise there is a two-night minimum on weekends and midweek.


June through September
$165/night on weekends; $140/night midweek.
Mid-Week Special: Three nights at $125/night.
Because we offer only one room there are no additional room and sales taxes that would normally add 13% to your bill.



Includes your own room keys, cable TV, parking on site, outgoing phone, self-serve continental breakfast, private bath, and other features.
